cancer alliance of Naples (CAN)

Cancer Alliance of Naples (CAN) a 501(c)3 charity is devoted to helping local children, families and individuals touched by cancer, by providing financial aid, support, education, and information resources. Serving all of Collier and Lee County. The charity was created in 2002 by a group of passion filled volunteers who saw a grave need in our community to aid cancer-stricken families and individuals. In addition to financial aid, CAN provides programs for free to the cancer community. Programs include cancer support groups, in English and Spanish; Food for Life cancer research-based cooking classes; CAN cares support kits that include comfort and necessity items for a cancer patient during treatment; wig and headdress closet; resource library. CAN is currently offering many of these programs virtually and is still enrolling clients for financial assistance.

The Cancer Alliance of Naples (CAN) offers services and programs to help those who are currently dealing with cancer in Collier and Lee Counties. Services provided can include financial assistance to help with everyday needs such as transportation, groceries, gas, rent, insurance, and utilities. CAN has been devoted to providing needs-based, non-medical financial assistance to cancer patients and their families. Through the generous support of the community, they are able to turn despair into hope by providing a lifeline during a very difficult time.
